Trot ON’s Whinnies, Nickers and Neighs Competition - Terms and Conditions
Entering the Competition
1. The Trot ON’s Whinnies ,Nickers and Neighs Competition (the "Competition") is open to those aged over eighteen years old ("You").
2. Employees of Trot ON Corporation Limited or their family members, or anyone else connected with the Competition may not enter the Competition.
3. To enter the Competition, You should create a video of no more than 1 minute in length (including opening and closing credits) of your horse whinnying, nickering or neighing and upload the film to YouTube. You then need to upload it onto the Horse Fun Group on Trot ON’s website http://www.troton.com/groups/grouphome/4/horse-fun.html
4. By entering the Competition in this way you are accepting these terms and conditions and also YouTube's terms of use at www.youtube.com/t/terms and YouTube's Community Guidelines at www.youtube.com/t/terms.
5. If You have any questions on how to enter, please e-mail support@troton.com with COMPETITION QUERY in the subject line.
6. Your video must not have been broadcast before in any media.
7. You may only send one entry to the Competition.
8. Your film must be your own work, must not be copied, must not contain any third party materials and/or content that You do not have permission to use and must not otherwise be obscene, defamatory or in breach of any applicable legislation or regulations. If We have reason to believe your film is not your own work or otherwise breaches this provision, then We may not consider it and/or We reserve the right to not display or to cease to display your entry.Those submitting videos agree that all submissions may be viewed publicly on web pages owned or controlled by us, before the results of the competition is announced, allowing the online community to comment, vote or otherwise respond. We have the right to refuse entries we feel in anyway harm or stress the animals involved
9. We must receive your entry to the Competition by 11.59 pm on May 1st 2012. Entries received after this closing date will not be considered.
Picking the winner and runners up
10. A panel of judges from Trot ON will choose the one winning entry and two runners up for the Competition.
11. When choosing the winning entries, the judges will be looking for your horse’s overall vocal and visual star appeal.
12. The judges' decision will be made on or before 1st June 2012. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Publishing the winning entry
13. Subject to paragraphs 8 and 14 below, all entries to the Competition will be available to be viewed on Trot ON for the duration of the Competition. The winning entries will be shown on Trot ON from 1st June 2012 or (if Trot ON needs to delay this publication for any reason) at a later date.
14. You own the copyright to your Competition entry as its author. You represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have (and will continue to have during the duration of the Competition) all necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions which are required to enable Trot ON and YouTube to use your Competition entry and that the entry is Your own original work, that it is not defamatory, obscene and that it shall not infringe any third party rights including, without limitation, privacy. You will provide evidence of such on our reasonable request. We reserve the right not to display or to cease to display Your Competition entry for any or no reason including, without limitation, if we deem that Your entry is in breach of this paragraph 14 or is in breach of any applicable law or regulation or otherwise may create a liability for Trot ON.
15. By submitting an entry to the Competition, You give Trot ON :
a) permission for your entry to be broadcast on Trot ON ‘s website, the YouTube website and grant Trot ON a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to republish your Competition entry in electronic format for purposes connected with the Competition; and
b) the right to use your name for the sole purpose of identifying You as the author of your entry.
The Prizes

17. The winner and runners up will be notified either by email, telephone or post on or before 1st June 2012.
18. The prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred by You and cannot be redeemed by You for cash or any other prizes. You must pay all other costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
Some other rules
19. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Joint submissions are not allowed.
20. We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
21. Your entry will not be returned to You.
22. Details of the winners can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: 5 Stone Street Court , Stone Street , Hadleigh , Ipswich Suffolk IP7 6HY
23. No purchase is necessary.
24. The winner and runners up may be required for promotional activity.
25. The Promoter of the Competition is Trot ON Corporation limited, 5 Stone Street Court, Stone Street, Hadleigh, Ipswich , Suffolk IP 7 6HY Any complaints regarding the Competition should be sent to this address.
26. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of Trot ON for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.
27. Trot ON accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. Trot ON further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to You or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.
28. Trot ON reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Trot ON in all matters under its control is final and binding.
29 Trot ON shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
30. The Competition will be governed by English law.
