Can anyone recommend a good cross-country course for a novice horse. I want jumps that I can get them over from a standstill if I have problems. A variety of challenges would be good, steps, and water etc and good ground would be a bonus!! |

The UK chasers course at Margeretting near Chelmsford is good fun, spread over several miles so gives horses a break rather than loads of jumps all in one field. Ranges from poles on the ground to around 3'6" with a bit of everything. Google UK chasers. Only prob is intial expence as have to join UK chasers then pay hire fee. |

Stanford Rivers Cross Country course is really good as well. Range from 2"3 to 3"6. Its £20 per horse |
