I am new to this forum and just did a post but realized I did a spelling mistake. Wanted to correct it but don't think there is an edit facility? Have you thought of going for setting up a better style forum than this as there are so many more facilites on a lot and they are free.
great website but the forum style lets it down.

Hi welshcobzrule (great name btw!) Thanks for your input. Ability to Edit posts and the ability to have a more versatile forum style are two of the many things on our list for improving the experience we provide here and we really do want to provide the best experience possible.
Edit postings :The issue is less about providing the edit functionality as in tracking each posting any individual makes.Editing makes tracking more problematic and legal folks can get concerned if tracking becomes less clear. For the time being we would suggest the following workaround -if you find you have made a mistake in a posting you can "copy" your original posting before you delete it and then "paste" it into the new box, make your amendments and post. This will mean at least you will avoid having to retype large amounts of copy.
More versatile forum style: While our forum style is more versatile in terms of photos, videos and links it is less flexible in terms of font type/stylizing/format/category functionality. It is a fine balancing act we are performing and a continuous improvement development programme is in place.

Hi yoffee, Not entirely sure I'm fully understanding the situation you face - normally when somebody can't log in it is because although they have registered they haven't activated their account by clicking on the link in the email they received however I sense in this case this is highly unlikely as I know you have been a member for sometime and I also know you need to be logged in to make the posting you've made above...Very Curious...Can you possibly email us with more detail about what happened to support@trotontv.com and we will get onto it straight away? Many Thanks
