There's this mare that I started to work with.. She's 12 and she's never been even launged! There were some people riding her, but not properly, probably just jumping on her back and pulling her on mouth, so she has very bad experience. I've started launging her and she's getting better every day, but I don't know what to do next. Should I treat her like every other horse or should I just give up? PLEASE,HELP!

treat her like any other horse, she will have bad habits but you can break them, all horses are open to learn, i would treat her like any other horse keep an open mind and you might find that she is very trainable...

Thank you! :) Today I put a bridle on her, and she seemed completely fine with. I'm gonna try putting a saddle on very soon. :D

With advice on saddling... here's where I see many people go wrong... if you can put the saddle on her back, GREAT! stop there! don't start cinching up until she's comfortable with the saddle on her back, she may develop habits like biting or tossing her head if she's not ready!!
