Hey, just thought I'd put it out there that if you live in the UK and you want an ex-racehorse, then please consider getting one from us :) we're a registered Charity/Community Interest Company and our function is rescuing racehorses, retraining and rehoming them. We have 12 thoroughbreds, all ranging from 'only fit to be a companion', 'fresh off the track', 'tame but untrained', 'started schooling', advanced schooling', young, old, mares, geldings, stallions, feisty, funny, friendly, quiet, bold, nervous, confident. Anything! Please check out the website: wwww.newbeginningshorses.org.uk or check out the Facebook page: New Beginnings Horses CIC. The picture included is of three of the mares (left to right), Annie, Aragon and Cindy. Will post more pictures and videos soon! Thank you x

Here's a video of just a few of the racehorses and a couple of the ponies :) Bronny has gone to a new home and Louis died recently :( but there are many more that are not in this video! P.S This is our old yard, this video was made a long time ago, we now have a stud farm :D which may appear in future videos x

You can also send a donation via cash, cheque, over the internet or by printing off our form. Or, you could adopt an ex-racehorse like Dee, Annie, Faye, Nutty, Merlin, Cindy or Aragon :) x

Honestly i never ever wanted a TB especially an exracer but grenville was a sympathy buy lol he was skinny and had skulky eyes and a dull coat but he was still cheeky and now i have bought an exracer i can honestly say i am glad i did even if he is often an arse to ride! Don't think i would get another one though, then again i probably will just like i got gren when i said i wouldn't look at TBs :\ :)

Yeah, they're shrouded in rumours and stories about how violent and awful they are- but most of it is not true! There are countless TrotOn users that own ex-racers and every one of them will tell you they don't regret buying one! We just need homes for these horses, hopefully we'll get a few more sympathetic people like you, because we need to get them off to new homes to make room for more rescues- we're full! x
