Well grenville LOVES jumping, i HATE jumping, it bores me, sollution i thought would be someone else jump him but no grenville won't jump for anyone else. So any tips on how i can enjoy jumping more? I jumped every week at the riding school for just over a year and i got bored of jumping so now when i try to jump gren every 2 or 3 weeks i get bored and we often finish before we have even gotten to decent sized jumps because i get sick of jumping lmao! And then gren is too fizzed up to school from the warm up jump yet i haven't done enough to cool down but i cant be bothered jumping! :P I want to enjoy it like i used to again, just can't seem to get into it, any tips? :\

i would suggest not just doing the same jump over and over. doing that will soon begin to bore the horse and also yourself. try to mix it up a bit doing courses and grids of jumps anything to change it up each time you do it. hope this helps :) this vid has some examples of grids and stuff :)

I do courses and stuff but it is just jumps themselves that bore me lol i like doing grids though but i can't do them often because usually i can only put 2 jumps up in the school without interfering with other people schooling because our school is shared and there can be 10 people in the school at any one time and it is only a small school so really i was thinking of things to do with jumping itself, if i had any other horse i just wouldn't jump but he feels much better when he jumps (he is arthritic in 3 legs) and jumping seems to pick him up ;P I think i will just have to grin and bear it for him :)
