Hi, i own a 18 year old flea bitten grey connemara pony. he has been streaching out like he is going to pee but he won't sometimes he'll stand like this for 15 mins+ (but after a while he'll just go backwards he just refuses to go fowards) until i get off when im leading him he walks foward fine. i have tried using a crop and everything (not too much though) so we think that if its behavioural (spelling?) that he would just go fowards we have had the vet out and they are concerned that it could be malenoma but he has to lumps we can see we have treated him for stomach ulcers, scanned his bladder, and checked for beans we have speant heaps trying to find out whats wrong with him but its annoying cause hes a perfect wieght and looks really healthy. i am really confused and he will do this at competitions so it is really frustrating. he is currently on a pain trial thing to see if its pain or behavioural and we give him 10mls or bute in his feed daily but we havnt noticed much of a difference. the only other thing we can really do is surgery to look for a tumour i dunno what to do i dont want to sell him. :( :(
