Since my mare trips occasionally, and is just too damn lazy to pick her feet up and step UP a little concrete ditch out walking and ends up tripping since it's not something she can kick out of the way haha... I'm looking for knee boots for just in case. She's always managed to save herself so far, but no doubt there'll be a time that she won't be able to. Better safe than sorry! Honestly though, I have NO clue what I'm looking for. I've found a couple of sets that say one size, I understand adjustable ties, but for the actual solid kneecap protection bit I'm weary. Surely different horses will have different size kneecaps and some protection may rub differently than others? That's my main concern with this set here http://www.thesaddleryshop.co.uk/P/JHL_Knee_Boot-(1959).aspx
This look like they've got more comfort to me personally, but I honestly have no clue. http://www.thesaddleryshop.co.uk/P/JHL_Traditional_Knee_Boot-(1958).aspx
I'd prefer the black ones (completely vanity reasons) but if the others would be better then I'd get them.
Or if anyone has any other cheap knee boots they know of, go ahead and suggest! Thanks :)
