My instructor Ms.Jodie, is awesome in my opinion and a great teacher. She has around 50-60 years of experience with Horses and she's still finding out new things for us. She knows when she needs to push us out of our confidence level and when she needs to take it back a notch :3 Thats about all I can say XD

Well I've got two fantastic trainers at the moment, Dazzle, who I met through Trot ON and Lucinda McAlpine. I think like your instructor they not only have years of experience but are still passionate and excited about what they do. They are also very empathetic and can help and encourage both you and your horse to improve. The lesson I get with these trainers is dependent on how my horse and I are on the day, whereas with many trainers I've had before I got virtually the same lesson as the horse and rider who came before and after me. It amazes me that riders are still happy with a trainer who shouts at them, circle, circle, push them on, kick, circle, circle and whose idea of a successful lesson is seeing rider and horse leaving the school dripping in sweat! Now I come out of lessons going 'aha, now I've got it WOW' knowing that our brains and bodies have worked intelligently, rather than mindless knackering circles!

My aunt's teaching me. She's not got any experience in teaching riders, but has 40 years experience in her own riding, majority of English disciplines, breaking and training youngsters, competing and all that jazz. Since she's a relative, she can be as hard on me as she wants, which tbh, I do need as I tend to make a lot of excuses haha! Flicka, my aunt tends to do that a lot with me, but that's because she's instructing me from the ground to instruct the mare, so in essence, she's teaching me, to teach the mare lol! At the end of one of those 'kick! push her on! circle!' lessons she said she was pleased with that lesson, but I wasn't so sure and said, 'it's not me though, it's Saffie that's getting it'. Even after one of 'those' lessons, it's power of words after when she said 'yeah, she is getting it because you are!' Ending on that note was motivational! At the same time, my aunt learnt in a hard way herself 40 years ago, if she did something wrong, she had buckets thrown at her. Even though she's not throwing buckets at me, she's not softy soft with me. :P Learning on a vicey, 'untrained' horse has helped me a lot to read her and think like a horse and with my balance. There's times she's tried to nap to the gate and my aunts jumped at her to shoo her away and my butts stayed planted, very iffy but I stayed up ontop lol!

My riding teacher name is Annabelle Read and she is the best. She never gives up on me and is always there to give me that "push". Without her I wouldn't have gotten my mare Betty and I would not be riding her or going to shows or dressage. She has taught me to be confident with horses and has taught me nearly everything I know.

My riding instructors name is Karen. She is so mush fun to ride with! And her famous "one more". She's a great teacher, always encouraging me to do better in riding. She makes me so much more confidant and comfortable even when I make the worst mistakes ever. At the end of some of my lessons we go for trail rides on her property. I would never have been doing as good as I would with anyone else.

My riding instructors name is Lindsay. Some people think she is scary, but she isn't. They just don't know her yet :) She's totally random. We could be working on some grid, and while I'm cantering over canter poles, she'll be like "Yes, like that, heels down further and--hey, whens your birthday?" I love her. She's really helped me come a long way! She has ridden since she was twelve, and has done pretty much everything! Right now, she's really into dressage. 4th class actually!
