Hi, I'm selling my trailer and looking for a 3.5 ton lorry, can anyone give me advice on what to look for, what to avoid and recommendations of makes etc...Have heard on news that there have been problems with horses attempting to leap over breast bars on backward facing ones, has this happened to anybody ? It seems that most conversions are backward facing, I know horses are known to prefer travelling backwards but don't want to put my pony in danger. I thinking of spending up to 10k. Thank you

Grenville won't travel any way but sideways! He falls over if he is facing foreward or backward. Also be careful cos wagons/lorries cost alot to run and keep taxed etc so you want to buy the newest you can afford, also be wary of wood floored wagons they are prone to rot and unless they are well maintained they can collapse under pressure.

Thank you for your advice Jess. Pepsi travels fine forwards or sideways so presume she would be ok backwards x
