I have been meaning to put this topic up for ages. A few months ago when I was waiting for my sheet, I went and had a cup of tea in the cafe and on the table were old copies of Horse and Rider, Your Horse, Horse and I wondered how many of you read these. Do you find the articles useful? Do you think they go into enough detail? Does anyone subscribe to Horse Hero? I would be interested to know your thoughts. Then I thought, should we have an on-line Troton magazine? Best stop now, I'm getting carried away!!!!

My favourites are Horse and Your Horse, I subscribe to Horse magazine with my Tescos vouchers as I never know what to spend them on. I just love it when it arrives in the post. I do find their articles useful, from training tips, horse care down to tried and tested. Their only downside in my view is the cost but if you subscribe or use vouchers they are a lot cheaper. A Trot on magazine would be great, would be nice include a feature on different members.

My favorite is Practical Horseman. The articles are great, they have "clinics" i.e. columns with the pro's like George Morris. I don't know if you can get it in the UK. Here's their website.

When I looked at the training articles I wondered if they really did cure the problem. It would be nice to have a follow on. Anyone agree? On Tried and Tested, I would like a more independant view at 5'11" most of their clothing range especially breeches would probably be too short for me. This winter I am determined to look half decent, most of the people I teach turn up looking immaculate, so something along the lines of which and what tinted moisturiser would be nice or is this too shallow?
