I'm surely not the only person to have made this mistake...
Long story short - Hoof moist vs. beige jods. :(
Does anyone know any tricks to get it out? It was too much of a task for the washer, and I'm sceptical about a hotter wash incase they shrink haha! |

have you soaked them? we usually soak stained clothes in a bucked of hot water with oxi or some other stain remover and then chuck it straight in the wash, sometimes it takes more than one go to get out really really tough stains but it should come out... eventually lol |

what have you stained them with? basically our rule of thumb is soak as soon as you take them off.. soak for a while too. I am currently trying to get tomato sauce out of white jods :/ why on earth would someone think white is a good colour to wear with horses.. |

I think she said Hoof Moist! If you see whats in it you could try a Stain Devil, you can buy them formulated for all sorts of different things. Trouble is if you have to spend too much on them you may as well buy a new pair! I've found one of the worst things to get out is anything tomato, like soup or sauce. My son spilt his tomato soup on his bed covers last week (Don't ask, he's old enough to know better!) I soaked, washed, and they didn't look any different, so I had to bin them and by some more. |

The other 'death to beige johs' is wet sand and mud when hunting, and tan suede seats on saddles when caught it the rain! |

I am still soaking my jods with tomato sauce.. not having a huge amount of luck. Its lighter and you cant notice it that much (i think I know its there so i go looking) but they are my stupidly expensive new kingsland breeches!!! :'( whats hoof moist, never heard of it in australia... Jess I would love to compete in beige jods but its not done at the level I'm at now, not to mention they wouldn't suit my new jacket.. *excuse my shocking hands*
