Just watch the slow mo of that passage. Amazing elevation. To lose such a talented horse that way, would just be heartbreaking.

Some idiot pulled out in front of the float and his injuries were so bad they had to put him down.

How sad-my worst nightmare but there are so many stupid drivers on the road. I try and leave a good braking gap but others drivers don't seem to realize that when you're in a lorry or pulling a trailer with horses in the back you can't stop as quickly. I've had people come from the fast lane and cut right across to get up a slip road-crazy :(

Another sad loss, this time to the world of eventing is Phillip Dutton's horse Woodburn who suffered an internal hemorrhage. Read Phillip's moving tribute via the link.

Its just terrifying, I've just started towing myself around lately and it worries me so much. people just dont seem to care! maybe if i had a sign plastered on the float, "WARNING THIS HORSE IS WORTH MORE THEN YOUR CAR" i heard about woodburn, such a shame. what an amazing horse! just a pleasure to watch!
