Where you lucky enough to receive an email saying that you were successful in getting a ticket? If not, will you apply for the next round or did you not even apply as they were too expensive? Did you get the tickets you wanted? Was the ballot system fair?

Unfortunately I got one saying I wasn't :( I applied for cross country day. The email said I could re-apply this Friday but cross country and show jumping tickets are all taken now. However both days for the dressage team events are still available (at the more expensive rates-typical!) so I will apply for one of those. I know there will be great coverage on the TV but I really want to be there to experience the Olympic atmosphere for at least one day and of course to see some fantastic horse and rider combos strutting their stuff!

Well I was very lucky! I applied for just 2 tickets for the XC and got them. I have only met one other person who has got tickets :( There is an awful lot of disappointment. So many of us want to experience the Olympic atmosphere as well as specific events. I think we might find that a lot of the tickets will have been allocated to companies and organisations...

I was lucky too, I have tickets to Team Dressage day 1 and day 3 which is also the medal ceremony. I don't know anyone else who has tickets and I know quite a few people who applied for dressage tickets and never got them. I really wanted to go to the Grand Prix but the tickets at the top end were £275 per seat. I had hoped there might still be some left but even these have sold out.

Well I'm pleased for all of you who have tickets although looking a little green lol. Jess, when I re-apply on Friday it will be first come first served this time. Think I'll put in for day 1 of the team event and with any luck I might bump into you Dazzle, and you can explain what I'm looking at! :D

Oh, that would be lovely Flicka we could meet for lunch. As for explaining, remember Dressage Law 24, No one cheats at dressage because no one truely understands it!!

Ha ha, but you were very good at explaining passage in dressage wannabes. I'm definitely up for lunch if I do get a golden ticket and then you can fill me in on the other dressage laws :D
