Well we now know what Biche is doing in the trailer, the trouble is how to fix it? My friend travelled in the trailer with her to see exactly, what happened. She is not using the breast bar when breaking to balance, she presies against the side, legs are spread out to balance, but she puts all her weight on the breach bar then just gradually lets her self go down. My friend said she had never seen any thing like it, and shes been around horses all her life. It always happens on the way back from a lesson, not when im going. Please some help. Our lessons may have to come to an end ,it just seems a shame as we both enjoy them so much. I am looking at other traliers to see if rear facing might help or side ways facing ,but my funds are limited

I have heard that travelling backwards is easier/more natural, & would be worth a try if you can do it in your normal trailer? That pressing against the side & toppling over as a result is a real devil I don't know how you make them un-learn such unhelpful tactics? How weird it only happens on the way back from a lesson, I don't know how that could be explained. Good luck
