I was wondering if anyone has used them and if they have had any success because grenville is (as a few of you will know) having a pretty rough time of late and he is still really lame on his front leg but to be honest it doesn't ease up that much after he has been ridden (it is arthritis in his fetlock) and he has had more tildren and he is having adequan/adequin (spelling?) injections soon and he is also on cortaflex and i will be putting him on cider vinegar BUT i was wondering if magnetic boots would help? He has bone spavin in his hocks too but they don't really bother him so i was planning on getting fetlock boots but my mum isn't convinced because they didn't make much difference to her friends horse but others swear by them. What do you think should i give it a go? I am just unsure because they aren't cheap!

I have fetlock wraps. Want some boots. I believe you can ride in them (we have a pair of magnetic jumping boots) I honestly can't personally tell you how well they work my horse doesn't need them (precautionary, australia has crappy jumping ground) but I have heard of people who swore by them.. I know a lump Phil has had forever came down a heap with the use of them (still there but big improvement). Sorry cant do much better then that..

Hi Some people find magnetic products work well. but as with anything not all horses will respond to the same degree. Be careful of using products to mask issues instead of getting to the bottom of them or you could end up damaging your horse more. Best wishes HorseVet
