Well, when I ride my horse in dressage I ride every stride, so for you, before you get to 'pull up' I would ride every stride and make sure your horse is listening to your SEAT. Wiggle the reins a little or something to get his attention. You should be able to do that without a bridle so don't even use your reins, have them but just don't even pay them attention, use your seat, and use your logic. |
