Hi,
After about 6 months of itching my pony has been diagnosed with an allergy to: Carrots, Corn, Dust and Mould.
Apart from:
-Not feeding him carrots
-Giving him haylage not hay
-Giving him a paper bedding
-Feeding him ''Equine sensistive''
are there any other precautions we should take?
Thank you.
(Apparently his levels are 2,000 when they should be 150) |

Ermmm rubber matting - less dust settle on this than concrete. Try to turn out as much as possible and stable only when you HAVE to, 24/7 all year turnout would be the best thing. Try not to school in a indoor school or in a dusty outdoor, try to stick to non dusty surfaces but outdoor schools usually don't get too dusty. Also if you can put water in your feeds so your horse is eating something moist and not remotely dusty :) good luck |
