Did anyone watch The One Show on BBC1 last night? They had a fantastic piece on a guy called Dylan Jones who trains horses for the movies. It was particularly interesting as it relates to the discussion a few of us had about the Spanish Horses being ridden through fire. He says that the Lusitano, Andalucian, Iberian breeds retain in their bloodlines the courage they needed to be warhorses in medieval times. He also trains his horses in the way a warhorse would have been trained to respond to leg and weight aids rather than the reins, leaving the hands free to wield weapons. If you live in the UK you can watch it on BBC iPlayer (see link)for the next few days-definitely worth it:D

These are pretty much awesome videos and there has been too many movies that are based on the videos of horses and people love to see them.
