Heeeey just like to share someone that my sister found on youtube. I find him quite good and effective, just don't get worked up when he talks about 'women' he's joking around. He also does talk about Parelli and Monty once (so far) and put his own opinion about them just accept the fact that that's his oppinion. I don't particularly agree but the best thing to do is to not get worked up about those silly things and just focus on his knowledge and training. He's quite a comedian as well, gives you a good laugh :) Giving you a video of his that's a bit of a heavy one that may offend buuut I think everyone who works with horses should watch. ENJOY!

It doesn't offend me just annoys me. He doesn't seem to see the situation from the way others will see it. He is a little too opinionated. Its like when he says about over weight women, i know plenty of large ladies that are better riders than i am and anyone can learn no matter what age or whatever else he said. Also it depends on what people believe about horse whisperers etc, its not about common sense but beliefs, almost like religions, but not as heavy. Although i do agree with him about the spookiness and behaviour problems - it is caused by fear and mis-match of ability in horse and rider and it shouldn't be solved by strong bits etc but that is probably the only thing i agree with him on.

mmm I agree with the too opinionated but I ignore that and look for the things that really DO make SENSE! And he does say some things that like 'DERR! Why didn't I see that before.' ahahaa where it things click and although he doesn't seem to agree with other 'horse whisperers' he seems to be very similar to Monty's ways, from hearing Monty talk and Rick talk they have similar concepts but said in a different way so to me it's just explaining something that I might understand better sorta thing. Some of the videos I watch I get a wee bit worked up about but I still enjoy his horse sense that he has.
