Hi there NH riders! Since learning to control a horse using NH methods there is no way I want to go back to bit's, shoes, and inorganic ways. I'm sure you will all agree! I dont own a horse and finding a NH riding club is proving difficult. I've heard of Bittless Riding stables near Lampeter, Wales, but its a bit far to go once /twice a week etc. Can anyone recommend a riding club that uses only NH methods? It would be good to get a list going so we can all find a good club to ride at and recommend it to friends. Colt.

Like to join this conversation if I may. I went onto Google and followed links that took me to the site below; a list of people practicing natural horsemanship in the UK. You can see by it's length and geographical breadth that this has really taken off now. Colt, perhaps you can find what you're looking for through one of these people. It's really great stuff. Keep us posted as to how you get on. And good luck.

That's a great link, thanks for sharing it with everyone. I have heard of several names on the list, Kingdom Horse has been highly recommended to me. There is only one Riding Club offering only NH horses that I have found so far, and that is: http://www.bitlessbridle.co.uk/ and they are located at Talsarn, Lampeter, SA48 8RA. I may make contact with one of the instructors /trainers from the list on naturalhorsetraining.com to ask them if they have heard of any clubs. For people that dont own a horse, riding without a bit is a lot harder to find than it is to actually do!! A google search for NH riding clubs does return a lot of riding clubs, most that have the words "natural horsemanship" mentioned somewhere, but only the one mentioned above that is committed to being bit-free, shoe-less and 'Savvy'!
