I have to admit I loved her romp about Showjumpers and Polo and there is a new one on jump racing. Are you a fan? Will Jump! be on your Xmas list, or have you already read it? Are they all too silly?

Ha ha I tend to be a bit of a book snob but I think I might have to give Jilly Cooper a go. Might start of with the show jumping one or Jump! sounds good. Sexed up equestrianism sounds just right for the Christmas stocking! :)

I have read them from the start and am now part way through Jump. Have always enjoyed Jilly's books and struggle to put them down in the evening when I know I have to get up early the next morning!! Jilly Cooper and Dick Francis take up a good chunk of my bookcase :)

I used to love reading Jilly Cooper in the Sunday Times. I think it was the Daily Telegraph which had a polo-playing retired Lt Colonel or similar to review her book "Polo". There was rather a lot of harrumphing about the technical details of play being inaccurate...

Nearly finished my first Jilly Cooper book Riders. Having just read two novels by Evelyn Waugh I did my own bit of harumphing lol and then got horribly hooked even though the female characters are so weak! I don't think I'd bother if horses and showjumping weren't at the centre of the action but it certainly does bowl at a good pace which is what makes it so addictive.
