Loved this story about Leona Lewis who's getting over splitting up from her boyfriend by hanging out with a stallion-good choice!!! Have horses helped you through the bad times? |

Hmmm never saw leona lewis as a horsey person lol... Yep grenville has helped me through thick and thin (mostly thin the past few month) and my family always joke he is the only man i need in my life, they're not wrong. I can remember the really tough patches of my life when i didn't have a horse but i did have a special pony at the riding school who i saw 3 times a week and i remember just how much better she made me feel with her playful nips and when i was really down how she would let me hug her (she wasn't a cudddley pony) and she has died of cancer a few days ago, my old instructor had asked me to go visit her when they put her down as she apparently hadn't been the same since i left and she tried to get up and nicker when she saw me it was so heartbreaking, this mean grumpy little pony had still carried my 5'11 frame galloping down the beach right until 6 month ago when she got sick. I sat with her while they put her to sleep, she was an amazing little pony, she was my baby girl and grenville was my baby boy, i love them both equally but holly seemed to always want to please me, it sounds weird but if someone else was riding her in a lesson jo would often have to swap whoever was on her with me as she seemed to perk up when i was riding her or she would ask me to go down to see her if she was really ill and it used to make the world of difference. Grenville has had to endure me upset because of this too now but he always puts a smile on my face and helps me remember the good times and forget all my troubles. I love horses |

Here are 15 reasons why we prefer horses to men found on the internet. Enjoy!
1. If they don't work out, you can sell them.
2. They don't come with in-laws.
3. You don't have to worry about your children lookng like them.
4. You never have to iron their saddle pads.
5. If you get too fat for one, you can shop for a bigger one.
6. They smell good when they sweat.
7. You can repair their "clothes'" with duct tape.
8. It's possible to keep them from "jumping the fence."
9. You can force them to stay in good physical condition...with a whip if necessary.
10. They don't want their turn at the computer.
11. They turn white with age, but not bald.
12. They've never heard of PMS.
13. They learn to accept restraint.
14. They love to go trail riding.
15. They don't care what you look like as long as you have a carrot.

Very good Part Arab-Ha ha, yes I disagree with 9 as my husband would probably be partial to a bit of whipping and as for point 1-if I could get a good price for him I'd definitely sell him!! And as for point 13-they do some nice pink fluffy handcuffs in Ann Summers lol!! |

Yes my mum always jokes Callum is the only man I need in my life :) Too right, have no time for anything else! Friends, family and pony is enough for me ;) More than anything Callums has caused the most tears rather than helping them but we're over that now of course :) He does make me feel so much better if I'm feeling a bit rubbish or down....he always knows how to cheer me up or makes some faces to make me laugh and nuzzles into me. He did get me through some very stressful college exams...when I just needed a break all the stress just left for a while anyway |

Leona Lewis can spend some time with our Stallion Ben, she wouldn't get much comfort from him, we reared him, got the best of everything, I pick thistle's for him [he loves them] he has the lady mare's transported to him for the season, I even wash his willy and yet he still BITES me at any chance he get's..think I'll take my chances with a man don't fancy getting bitten to death..He's a lovely fella but it's so annoying when I'm so good to him and he treat's me like that.erra maybe it's his way of saying he love's me ... |

no man could be as good as charlie :) and romany is my girl she may be a moody wee cow half the time but she knows when i need a cuddle. and charlie was my shoulder to cry on when my granny died, bless him he didnt have a clue what was wrong with me, he jus nuzzled my hair :) but i think thats why horses are often better than people at comforting, because they are just there for you...they dont ask anything |
