Got home from 3 months working in america on a stud to find me 14.2hh had a very nice golf ball sized splint just below his left knee. My mum had only spoted it about 2 days before i got home but she had been unable to catch him as they just dont get on. He had been well looked after in my mums care with my other horse. There was no heat or swelling and i had the vet out asap. I am guessing he did it while galloping around. He came with one on his right leg thats now so small you can hardly feel it. Being welsh cob with feather you cant see it. I just want to know if he will be ok for jumping. This was back in october and still not heat or pain. It seams bigger some days than others but hes been out of work due to the snow. Just coming back into it and still nothing from the splint.
