Hi. I'm certainly more in favour of feeds that don't rely on grains and pulses. Horses are designed to eat on an almost continual basis so I suspect many problems are caused by what is fed and feed management alongside overuse of antibiotics etc. Any situation that sets up a potentially toxic environment carries the risk of a laminitic episode to varying degrees.
