Hey
My horse recently went through a fence. He cut himself up fairly badly. He took a patch of skin and meat up to the first muscle layer, the wound was about 10cm long, 6cm wide and 4cm deep.
Now for the first few weeks i used what we call Pregnaderm or green goop on it, whilst also using betadine solution, debrisol, and dermaclens.
Now im using pure, unprocessed raw honey. Its healing beautifully with no proud flesh (yay) but i have noticed some minimal scarring occuring.
Is there anything i can use (preferably natural) to start minimalising the scarring now?
I wont put photos up as it is fairly graphic and may disturb some members. |
