none Tack Room Tea Room 9531 members
About this group
The tack room is where you keep some of your most expensive equipment, alongside those odd bits and pieces that you know will eventually come in useful. It's where you stop for a quick cup of tea (coffee, juice, or something stronger, depending on how it's going)! But it's not a place you remain in forever. You keep popping back whenever you need something, and you bump into friends and stop for a chat. That's what this group is all about.... Come here when you first join Trot on TV, for help in getting started. Come back when you need another cuppa, want to meet other members, pin something on the notice board, or need to get on your soap box! If I can't help you, I probably know a "man who can" ....

none Outside the box 337 members
About this group
A group to offer remedies or advice on how to solve a problem, in one of the less common ways, using a different approach. For open minded people who can look outside the box and see the bigger picture! Topics can be on anything or something you have tried that works. Like using vegetable oil as an inexpensive hoof moisturisor, or how to perhaps assist in preventing a horse from crib biting, to home made fly repellant receipes. To bit less bridles and treeless saddles. Anything really!

About this group
Monty Roberts, Parelli, Clinton Anderson, all have something in common they do things the 'natural way'. Whoever you follow, whatever you learn, share it here. We will discuss different techniques for different issues in training, from starting a horse to overcoming an obstacle. There is no such thing as a 'problem horse' only one that's misunderstood. With shared information we can help a lot of people and their horses.

none WHY WOMEN LOVE HORSES 844 members

A while ago we started a survey on why women love horses but we thought it would also be great to have a group where we could share our thoughts and experiences of why the horse is so special to us.

none Horse Behaviour 466 members
About this group
What really goes on in the world of the horse? Everyone involved with horses will have studied horse behaviour to an extent. This group is to discuss, share and learn such knowledge. Xenophon summed it up bluntly two and a half thousand years ago when he wrote: 'Seeing that you are forced to meddle with horses, don't you think that common sense requires you to see that you are not ignorant of the business?' Topics covered: social behaviour, communication, the senses, how horses learn, abnormal behaviour, maintenance behaviour, reproductive behaviour, horse welfare, feeding behaviour and digestion and evolution. Please join in and add you thoughts on the subject........
