Bit HELP!!! | 20 members |
| Am looking for advice on English bits. I have an American Quarter Horse that is ridden Western. I am schooling her English now because she is a beautiful mover and I am thinking about hunt seat with her. PROBLEM: I ride her in a custom roller snaffle with 6" shanks. I own about 80 different bits and cannot find one that works with her. She does NOT accept ANY form of curb (i.e. fixed bit". It looks like she has had some surgery on her jaw at one time for an abscessed tooth maybe. Any ideas? | ||
