I think what you appreciate is the way horse and rider become one and the horse has to respond to the smallest change of weight or leg-as in war it is a matter of life and death. I have a book by Klaus Hemphling where he talks about how knights centuries ago had to be able to ride their horses without a bridle as their hands were occupied with a sword and shield. As for bullfighting I can't say I like it although I am fascinated by traditions like this.

i am very impressed by the communication between horse and rider.. you dont see the rider change much but the horses knows what he wants.. isnt that bullfighting horse gorgeous.. the horses they use are all magnificent creatures..

I also am in awe of the horsemanship but think it can be done without the slaughter and torture of the bull and countless horse deaths too...

we all agree with that jess.. it is sad, and seeing that bulls shoulders slick with blood is disgusting.. but it is nice to see that kind of perfection still around..

I agree lol i don't know why i always have to say stuff like that, take no notice most of the time lol i just get so worked up about everything and i don't know why but i just don't understand why people would do it, i might search it to see if there is a reason other than tradition and fun that they do it, would be interesting to see the views of supporters and compare it to our views... Sorry babbling again lol
