A childs 50+ sun cream is cheaper and works as well as the horsey brands.As for the eczema, you could try camolnile lotion. And the sweet itch, I swear by baby oil. Rub it into his tail and do that every day. Once a week you will need to wash his tail, you can get really good specific shampoos. Just put the oil in everyday, he will soon start to stop scratching and the hair will grow back. Good luck, hope it helps

aloe vera works well and baby shampoos. you could also try bringing him in from 11 til 3 so hes out of the main heat of the day and the flies are usually worst around that time too
