I used to decorate my horses stables, but only on the outside, we had indoor stabling then, I don't think its such a good idea to decorate the horse itself though, and friend of mine did that and a piece of tinsel went under the saddle, dug in him and he swifted bucked her and another rider off, and took off round the field, not knowing what was wrong with him she got back on, and ended up on the floor again. She didn't find the tinsel until she un-tacked him. So yeah stables great! Horses not so great! |

I have white icicle Christmas lights strung around the top of the inside of the shelter so the horses can have light. http://allthingshorse.wordpress.com |

I had little spray/wreaths on the doors last year, but had to take Foxy's down cos she tried to eat it! Next door have net lights across the side of their stables, we have blue lights on the tree near the gate. |

I was lucky enough to be able to take some photos at my local RDA Riding Centre last year. There was certainly tinsel, lights and hats there. Beautifully Festive!
