hey just letting you know, we worked with the V poles today. they are fantastic! Bella can be very lazy with her feet when jumping, she knocks poles and doesnt care and it really annoys me! shes my friends horse and we had been trying alot of things to make her more careful but the v poles worked a treat! she demolished a 90cm vertical, i put up the poles and she cleared it with inches to spare and tucked up perfectly! it was great for charlie 2, he really rounded over it. :D

Don't know if this has been said only read a few of the comments but try loose schooling over jumps that he cant run out of this will help your horse realise how big he needs to jump fences without any input from you (other than the encouragement from the floor to get him over them) but as soon as he figures out how to negociate heights and that he needs to flick his heels you will probably find you need to do less in the saddle.
