Wow this is amazing as your replys made me think alot.. So I got a different Dentist In, to check Billys Teeth.. Chris he was amazing.. Billy had a baby cap still attatched to his adult tooth.. which could not disconnect from the new growing adult tooth which was causing him Immense pain, which was causing his head throwing.. so he removed the cap shown In the picture.. and filed his teeth as were sharp and had grown a little since last file.. so In 4 months Chris will return to check his teeth again to make sure all Is well..... Thank you all for your advice and thank you chris for your Awesom work.. Love Billy Bob and Heather xx

hmm lets see i think maybe he has teeth problems so maybe check him out with the dentist.
if he is fighting for his head maybe if your holding him back soften your hands a little and give him a little squeeze with the legs and he might go. i had this happen to me when my pony gets excited but i relax my whole self let my hands loosen so that im not clinging onto them give him a little squeeze and he goes just fine. maybe try this, i read lots of books about how to just let your hands loosen because i used to always hold him back which usually he fights his head so i began reading particular sections and it told me to just relax. Try it you never know, im not a complete expert at horses but i can understand why he might be doing it. |

Maybe he doesn't like the bit? Go bitless either with a bitless bridle or without a bridle at all! If not i would get his head x-rayed head shaking can be caused by a head fracture, hope this helps. |

try getting some basket willow, if he eats quit a bit, i think you should get an x-ray, because basket willow is known to be a painkiller for horses, and he may have some sort of headache, so u can bare that in mind if u wish |
