Ha ha just thought of the carrot thing Horselistening mentioned. Maybe you could put some on the route you intend to take as well.

that's a great tip i'm pretty sure you are right with the memory thing.the girl we had him from was clueless and actually told us he was bombproof as ridden him,get this,down a dual carriage way!!! it has been and still is such a learning curve with golly. he really is a big baby and it's only having put things into words on here that you see it clearly..up early so can go and gove him some extra fuss before work..
