with courses i just go over them again and again till they feel like second nature, trace through the air which way you think you are supposed to be going.. another way my mum tries to help is i have to explain the course fully to her, not numbering them, but saying number one is the far blue and white oxer followed by a short 5 stride to the black and yellow vertical then left rein to number three which is the blah blah blah.. and so on and so forth.. that helps a lot to, especially with jump offs when you are trying to work out what lines you want to take.. |
