Well i know that my pony has made me so much more confident around and with horses, i suffer from my panic attacks alot less since having her, And shes shown me how horses bond to one person more than another, either that or she just knows me as the food provider :P |

Physically speaking, I have less migraines because of the horses. But they are a lot of time and energy. I guess I needed to fill a hole in my life. http://allthingshorse.wordpress.com |

Max is my friend. He makes me laugh..when he pulls strange faces and when I ride him and he tries to 'pull one over' on me!
Max makes me get out f bed in the morning....even if i feel hideous...his needs must be met.
Max trusts me to care for him and be there when he needs me and he returns this favour by always being there for me.
Max is my shoulder to cry on and the vessel on which I can find freedom, excitement and joy!
Max helps me to put the rst of my life into perspective..and for this I thank him. |

My Quarter horse cross Billy (4years old) saved my life many times... even if it meant him getting hurt in the process. I love him dearly but sadly had to give him up I'll cherish the time we had together forever as he was and always will be the best pony in my life.
He saved me once when we were galloping down the usual dirt track and i didn't see the ditch and he fell and fell hard, it jerked me over his neck but the darling pushed himself forward with his hindquarters and bounded straight back into a gallop at the cost of him hurting his leg and thus saving me from being seriously injured. I'm came out of that accident with nothing but a sore back from the whiplash.
Another time he saved my life when we were coming at a 1.9meter (almost 2 meters) oxer i was prepared but had judged the jump wrong and when we took off i lost my balance and slipped sideways in the saddle while we were only part way over the jump and he managed to shift his weight just before landing so it pulled me to the other side and he kept his weight to the opposite side of mine for a few strides after the jump and somehow that flipped me back into the saddle saving me once again... after all that he still cleared the jump.
Thats just two of the best times he's saved my life and i'll always love him for it. I miss him dearly. |
